The sixth annual Nebraska Steak Fry will be held on Sunday, Oct. 9 from noon to 3 PM this year, with North Carolina’s two United States Senators Lindsey Graham and Tim Scott as the guest speakers.
The Nebraska Steak Fry has been a regular autumn event for Nebraska Republicans. Last year’s event brought in such high profile guests as Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, and former Vice-President Mike Pence. Previous years have brought in guests such as South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Texas Gov. Greg Abbott.
The event regularly draws hundreds of other Republicans from around the state, including current and former elected officials, including Speaker of the Legislature (and current candidate for State Attorney General) Mike Hilgers, former Gov. Kay Orr, and Congressman Don Bacon.
The cost to attend is $20 per person or $35 for families, which includes a steak dinner. Attendees who want a selfie with the special guests have the option of paying extra for VIP tickets, but at least year’s event, all three special guests mingled with the crowd, meeting and greeting guests and getting plenty of selfies with attendees.
