The third annual Nebraska Freedom Festival, hosted by the Nebraska Freedom Coalition, will be held at the Valley County Fairgrounds in Ord, Neb. on Saturday, Oct. 14. This will be the first time the annual event will be held in Nebraska’s third district, with previous Freedom Festivals being held in Ashland and Springfield in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
Last year’s Freedom Festival was initially an outdoor event held at the Sarpy County Fairgrounds. This quickly came to an end when a large thunderstorm rolled through late afternoon, sending guests and VIPs for cover under a large tent, eventually moving to a small gym up the street in Millard. Organizers have said that this year’s event will have plans for inclement weather.
Current speakers include James Lindsey of the New Discourses, Kevin Posobiec, Kelly Walker of the Counter Culture podcast, and rapped DVS 7.0. There will also be a performance by local country music band, The James Lee Band.
The doors open at the event at 4 PM and the event begins at 6 PM. Additional guests will be shared in this space when they are announced.
