Senator Brett Lindstrom picked up a significant endorsement this afternoon in his race to become Nebraska’s next governor — Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert. Stothert stopped by his campaign office this afternoon to give the endorsement live via a live stream online and to various media outlets. In particular, she emphasized his positive campaign in contrast to attack ads funded by “dark money.” She also described Lindstrom as, “the only one with a plan,” on particular his effort to eliminate taxes on social security income, which is currently making its way through the legislature in multiple bills.
