On the day before the primary election, we will meet at the German American Society (11:30 AM – 1:00 PM) for a final briefing. Potential speakers include Congressman Don Bacon, who is running for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives in Nebraska’s 2nd District. He is expected to provide expert insight into military strategy and international relations, specifically regarding the Middle East, or we will host a “candidate showcase” where all local candidates may give a final two-minute pitch.
