Stand with Women Press Conference

The “Stand with Women” bill (formerly the Sports and Spaces Act) is a key legislative proposal focused on protecting women’s rights and opportunities. Join Governor Pillen and Senator Kathleen Kauth along with state senators, university athletes, and the public to show your support for this bill.

In preparation for the introduction of the Stand with Women bill here in Nebraska I would like to invite you to attend, and to ask for your help getting supporters to the Capitol for, a press conference on January 10th at 10:00am in the Rotunda.
I will be introducing the bill that morning and then joining Governor Pillen, University Athletes, Jennifer Sey CEO of XX-XY Athletics and many of my fellow senators in the Rotunda for the press conference.
This will be a very difficult fight. We will need every senator to choose to Stand with Women. We need to ask all Nebraskans to contact their senator and ask them to support the bill. Please share this with your groups and with your socials – especially on Jan. 10th.
