About Kirk Shelley

Kirk Shelley began his career in grassroots politics in North Carolina, working on Senator Jessie Helms’ 1984 campaign while in college. After completing his Army Officer Basic Course, he joined the National Right to Work Committee, focusing on state legislation. He later built a 110,000-member organization with the Oklahoma Freedom to Work Committee over seven years. As a political consultant, Kirk has achieved an 89% success rate across 237 State House and Senate campaigns in ten states, and has contributed to Congressional races, including the Ron Paul and Rand Paul presidential campaigns. He also served as a senior consultant for Campaign for Liberty for eight years, completing projects in 49 states. His work spans issues like gun rights, homeschooling, and property rights, involving grassroots mobilization, media, and candidate recruitment. Kirk developed training materials for the Foundation for Applied Conservative Leadership, where he was the first instructor. He is an East Carolina University graduate, a father of four, lives in Oklahoma City, is a member of Crossings Community Church, and is a veteran and honorably discharged Captain of the U.S. Army Reserves, having served in Operation Just Cause.
