About the Speaker
Jim Vokal is the CEO of the Platte Institute and host of the Nebraskanomics podcast. A lifelong Nebraskan from Omaha, he graduated from Creighton University and built a 20-year career in banking and real estate. Formerly Omaha’s youngest City Council President (2003–2005), Vokal has been a leading voice for economic freedom since joining the Platte Institute in 2012.
