About Jim Pillen

Governor Jim Pillen, Nebraska’s 41st governor since 2023, will speak at the Pachyderm Luncheon on September 28, 2025. A Columbus native, Pillen is a veterinarian, former Nebraska Cornhuskers football player, and founder of Pillen Family Farms. His administration focuses on strengthening agriculture, cutting taxes, and promoting conservative values. Recently recovering from a 2024 horseback riding accident, Pillen is running for re-election in 2026, aiming to continue advancing Nebraska’s economic and cultural priorities.
