Jim Caviezel is an American actor, best known for playing Jesus in The Passion of the Christ and Tim Ballard in Sound of Freedom.

Aside from his prolific acting career, Jim continues to promote his love of God, family, and country and supports various charities focused on serving and protecting women, children, families, and the unborn. A devout Catholic, Jim is a well-known speaker for religious and philanthropic groups throughout the country. Jim and wife Kerri have 3 adopted children and reside in California.
