This special event will feature keynote speaker Bethany Hamilton, who will share her inspiring story of overcoming adversity through faith and determination. The evening will include a VIP reception at 4:00 P.M. with Bethany Hamilton, followed by a partnering dinner at 5:30 P.M. The event aims to defend religious freedom for future generations and support Nebraska’s families, aligning with the mission of the Nebraska Family Alliance to advance family, freedom, and faith.

Keynote Speaker: Bethany Hamilton
Bethany Hamilton is the keynote speaker for the 2025 Life and Liberty Gala. At the age of 13, Bethany lost her left arm to a 14-foot tiger shark, which seemed to end her dream of becoming a professional surfer. However, just one month after the attack, Bethany returned to the water and within two years had won her first national title. She turned professional in 2007 and has since won numerous championships, authored best-selling books, and inspired millions through her story of faith, determination, and hope. Bethany has also been featured in films like Soul Surfer and Unstoppable. She continues to surf professionally, advocate for faith and life, and inspire others as a wife, mother, and global speaker.
