The Secretary of State is Nebraska’s chief election officer. He works with election officials in Nebraska’s 93 counties. MT, Evnen will give details on the newly-enacted requirements for voter ID at the polls, relate if counting ballots by hand is required in Nebraska, and answer other questions you may have on the oversight of elections, election tabulation equipment, voter registration, etc.
