Pachyderm Luncheon with Lt. Gov. Joe Kelly
John Sieler and the Greater Omaha Pachyderm Group are excited to host Lt. Governor Joe Kelly as the featured speaker on Monday, September 14 at 11:30 AM. Lt. Governor Kelly will talk about issues facing the state and his campaign for reelection in November. There will be time for Q&A.
On August 25, 2026, Gov. Jim Pillen announced that Kelly will again be his running mate as the pair seeks a second term on November 3. Pillen, who won the May Republican primary, called Kelly a “lifetime friend” and partner; Kelly said he is “fired up” to serve another four years and pointed to the administration’s record on public safety. If reelected, Pillen has said the next term would continue to focus on lower taxes and lower spending. The Pillen–Kelly ticket faces Democrat Lynne Walz and running mate Ben Steffen, and Legal Marijuana NOW nominee Rick Beard. Kelly has also been active this year on property tax relief, telling audiences the administration is working with senators to find the 33 votes needed for a lasting package.
